Very slow load in BF2

and i mean not just map load , but logging in it takes 5 min , then if i want to go in options it takes another 5 min to load up , anything i do while in battlefield 2 takes x6 times slowed than usual

4GB RAM
8800 GTS 640MB (playing at 1680x1050)
Q6600 @2.4Ghz
Win XP SP3

and please don't give me any annoying questions that a brain dead monkey can think off , like "are your Video Drivers fully updated?" , "do you have latest DX 9??" of course i did all those things , i would not be making a fuss about it if it have worked

reply if you heard of anything like this or how to fix it ,
reinstalling windows not an option
game was reinstalled 5 times , and patches from very first patch to latest one 1.41 , and only after the 1.41 patch i started to have this slow-down problem

Core Temp. while all that happens 47-50C , Vid. Card 51C which is normal - 75C at full load , RAM usage 700 MB in total

-i think i found the problem.. you dont need to install all previous patches to update BF2, you only need patch 1.41

-The only reason to re-install windows is if you cant get rid of a virus.

-please next time try to be polite when asking a question and try to keep these comments to yourself: "and please don't give me any annoying questions that a brain dead monkey can think off , like "are your Video Drivers fully updated?", some people might think: "why help this guy?, hes not even a member."

anyway just wanted to point that out, hope it helps.

i did try to install only 1.41 patch , same result - slow load

in my experience on forums : if you don't show people that you really hate something they will annoy you everytime with simplest questions

Tried just reinstalling the game?

Come on! Even my brain dead monkey can find the windows key. Just Chris Brown that computer until it does what you want.

End all the non essential processes. (including AV)
Defrag your HD. I do it at least every other day.
Format C: if it is still slow and reinstall Windows FTL.

I gave you perfectly good advice. If you end all non essentials and the problem persists, reformat. It's not complicated. Now get your panties unbunched.
