Hello,
I am wondering if any of you are Reverse Engineers? Employed as one, or have been reading plus experienced at the practice.
I have a excellent foundation in computer science now: very good with 3GL stuff, and more.
I am no stranger to coding for CS classes, and Robotics classes. The topics of: conditionals, loops, data structure, etc.. are all good.
I recently got a copy of: IDA pro 5.2, and Hex_Ray's decompiler (Asm to C code) plugin.
I have alot of web links from doing Google searches for reverse engineering, and I read them each day to learn more.
Here is a good one:

I am looking for someone to mentor me. Do you have this skill set? Are you willing to take on
a student by tutoring me?
I will do my share of self teaching, BUT when it comes to moments of "who-the-what-the", I would like to ask for tips, advice, what to do.
I would like to someday make a hack for, some game... what every comes out next year.
However, I know that it will take about 1 to 2 years because of all of the area's that I will need to mastered like: packing/unpacking of the exe (thermidia and alike), analyzing code (asm, c, c++) of the game AND the protection it has and more...

[edit]: if so PM me and perhaps we can create web emails and/or vent or Xfire voip.
[edit#2]:
Only PM me, I did not submit this to start online discussion about R.E. ------> I need a contact, a teacher to mentor me.
[EDIT#3] (02Feb09, Monday), I found some great web links, try these forums:
