I use Avast because it's free, easy to download and install, update it simple. Also, it's easy to disable to run the hack loader.

Mccaffee is horrible, I tryed it and I couldnt get around the built in firewall with xp to even play the hack. I used avg FREE for about 3 weeks and that was simple and some what easy to use.

I run http://onecare.live.com/standard/en-us/3/default.htm and XoftSpySE with it and have had no probs in over a year that I have been running them  ..disabling firewalls and ant-virus is just a click of a button.
