When the police in America call in a murder the code is 187. "Hey Bob we got a 187 over in the west end!". The 187 is murder...the ci is Cheats Incorperated.

I believe that 187 as a cop code is specific to California, but I could be wrong..

What I do know is that these niggas made it famous.. Lyrics were not originally "on an undercover cop" rather- "on a mutha fukin cop"...

This song made national headlines back in the day. Good choice btw...

Yes, 187 is the police radio code for murder, most commonly used in California. Some other places use it as well.

And T2x lives in California.
