sucks his gone now, he was 1 hell of a entertainer.... really bad timing considoring his tour supposed to start next month, for so long he is out of the picture then everyone *his fans* get all excited when he announces the concert only to die a month before it starts.

he apparently never really had a chance to grow-up, he seems to have stayed the same age in his mind as he was when he began entertaining.... to the day he died he seemed to me, like a 9-10yr old trapped in a mans body, the way he acted and spoke, his ranch was a MASSIVE playground.. and when he had kids over he must of thought of them as friends and this was like his playtime. * not that sort of playtime :P *

if he really was guilty of the charges against him, or if these are sick parents putting their kids upto the alligations i/we really have no idea and can only guess.

he was a great singer with some really kick ass dance moves, and thats what most people will be focusing on.

I agree with scrapy. "Bambi" might not have been the most examplifying sort of man (heck, was he even a man ? He looked more like a lost alien to me), even though there's no hard evidence that I know of (should we really trust 8-10yr olds testimonies ? Everyone knows kids at that age are highly influencable, most often by their parents.. Hell, I've known 19-20yr old kids who vote according to what their parents tell them, so 8-10yr olds can and will say what their parents tell them to say, period. They know they're in for a good ass-kicking when they get home if they don't).

But, he was one hell of a genius when it comes to entertaining. I'm not down with his latest works, but "thriller" and "bad" rank up among the most terrific pieces of pop/rock there's ever been, and ever will be (and after all, the guy invented the concept of music-video for "thriller").
And you have to acknowledge that the guys moves on stage beat the crap outta everyone else (except maybe John Travolta in Pulp Fiction. But that's a matter of opinion).

The important thing is that we shouldn't rip on dead people (if only because they're not around to defend themselves anymore), they have a right to a little respect..
In my country, even if someone is convicted, once he has done his time and paid his debt to society, he's entitled to something called "the right to forgetfulness" (meaning you can't hold against him something he has paid for already), if not the right to forgiveness...

Personally i never liked any of his music, or his video's, just not my style. As far as the fact that he was never convicted, well that just goes to show that those with money can get away with anything...ain't that right O.J. i remember a few of the people that accused him dropped the case against him and later it came out that they recieved a very large settlement, why pay someone off if your innocent? Some would argue that it would cost him alot more to fight the case, but i say that if you just pay them off it makes you look guilty and tarnishes your reputation, you can always make more money but it is hard to make people forget what might have happened. If he was innocent, then settling out of court was his biggest mistake ever, or perhaps he took the advice of his attorney's, which even then was a bad call on their part and MJ had to suffer for it. If he was guilty then i am sure there is a special level in hell just for the likes of him and any other pedophile. If he is innocent then i am sure there is an equally great level in heaven for him, as i said i never really cared for his type of music but thats just personal preference, his rise to fame, and his following of loyal fans is proof that his talent was geniune, and has forever secured a place in history.
