Battlefield 3 in Sommer 2008?

I know its old for some of you but i just have seen it today .

I only know that they'll soon release a game called "Battlefield Bad Company". There are trailers & screenshots out for it as well. But its not really a full online game I've heard. They've improved graphics & you can destroy the enviromet (like the buildings) too.

isnt bad company a console game?

Well they are all first a console game & a little later they'll be released for PC. they do this on purpose cuz if they release first for PC nobody will buy them for consoles.

battlefield 2 was never a console game.

if you read on about battlefield 3 and EA Dice owning that domain, they also own the domain for battlefield 4 aswell, so also they must be looking into the future even further than battlefield 3

I think because online games as such can't be played on consoles. As I said Bad Company is not a pure online game like 2142 or BF2. Its actually a single player but I think I read some where that they are planning to make a max. 24 players online feature too.
but its definetly not like BF2 that you start as a private & gather points, get ranks and move yourself up. If you watch the trailer you will get the picture pretty well.
