The color change to me anyway isn't a big deal as the mods/admins know that if you didn't have a sub you couldn't access the private forums.

One thing I am curious to though is being able to edit/delete posts is that an admin/mod only privy or does that ability coincide with the addition of name color an associated rights if eligible?

nah, its "just" a forum bug
if ur activated, u can use the hack, but ur name still might show up as a guest in the forums
no big deal if u dont care about status/avatar/signature/e-penis etc
