been monitoring this site for quite a while now. you may notice that this is my first post yet my join date is ages ago.. ive just been siting in the shadows. popping in now and then to read up on the latest shiz..

i just finished my HSC actually, which is my year 12 exams.. get my results in 3 days :S oh ohh.

so thisafternoon i convinceed myself that splurging out on a lifetime subscription to this site would be more fun in the long run than the dreaming ive been doing for the last 2 years.
yes... ive been thinking about it for that long

then i had another thought... dammit. the prices are in USD.
the elite package is $299 which currently equates to over $455 AUD
even the $219 package is well over $300 AUD.

without a job that puts the whole shebang out of my grasp unfortunately..

but while i intend to make a purchase sometime in the near future. i have a question about the whole protection from detection idea.

i know that when a hack becomes detected it gets taken off the site until its fixed and then rereleased. but im wondering about how you discover it is detected in the first place. does someone just suffer a ban and then tell t2x about it so he can take the hack down?

also, once a hack is detected, will it stop working on my computer to protect me or do you all have to visit the website everytime before using the hack to check up on its detection status?

i realise that t2x has been very successful in remaining undetected and the hacks havnt been detected in a long time. but the idea of suffering a hwban from pb frightens me alot.

when the hack detects a new pb version it crashes to desktop to save your cdkey while T2x checks what pb has done in there update

I was hesitant on joining but have not regreted one minute since.
187 has the best community there is .
They even put up with me so that says it all

H`mm thats interesting, because a certain game protections rules state that all their progs & updates are to remain in the game`s folder only

On every Ranked BF2 server, Punkbuster protects them from hackers.

As we all know, thats a failure because we have t2x

The way it works - When the hack detects the server is running a newer version of Punkbuster than what your computer is running, it Crashes you to your desktop in order to prevent you from having your CD key banned.

Also, I would recommend getting a Gold subscription as I don't know how much longer 187ci will be here. And If you really like gold, you can upgrade to Lifetime for 100 or so bucks.

thats exactly what i wanted to see. i like the idea of ctd.

well $180 is alot more affordable than $455.
and that gives me a whole year to upgrade..
